TCR α/β PE
TCRα/β (T-cell receptor) is a 40-55 kD disulfide-linked membrane bound heterodimeric protein normally consisting of the highly variable α and β chains expressed as part of a complex with the invariant CD3 chain molecules and binding of the TCRα/β with a peptide bound to MHC leads to T-cell activation. The IP26 antibody reacts with a monomorphic determinant of the α/β T-cell receptor, which is expressed on greater than 95% of normal peripheral blood CD3+ T cells, and it’s a unique mAb triggering T cell activation.
