ROR1 APC

Receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1), also referred to as NTRKR1, is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the ROR subfamily of cell surface receptors. Structurally, ROR1 includes a frizzled-like domain, an immunoglobulin-like C2-type domain, a kringle domain, and a pseudokinase domain lacking enzymatic function. ROR1 is predominantly expressed in embryonic tissues, the central nervous system, and certain cancer cells. It is notably used as a biomarker for B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Wnt5a has been identified as a ligand that interacts with ROR1. Growing research supports the role of abnormal ROR1 expression in the development of various human cancers.
