Caprico Biotechnologies, an Atlanta-based start-up biotech company, is focused on research and development of antibody-based biologic products including novel techniques for in vitro diagnosis. We are seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals to apply for the position of Production Technician, Sales Representative and Administrative Assistant. Production Technician

 

 

The Production Technician will support product manufacturing and development. Primary task will include cell culture, antibody production in vitro and in vivo, and immune assay (Western blot, ELISA, etc.).  Applicants should be goal driven and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. They are expected to maintain accurate, organized records and follow standard operational protocols.  The preferred candidate will have a thorough knowledge of biology, experience with mouse models, and the ability to quickly adapt to new fields/techniques.  

 

Applicants should have a B.S. or equivalent in the biological sciences with at least 2 year direct laboratory experience. Caprico offers excellent benefits and opportunity for promotion.  Salary is commensurate on previous experience. 

 

 

 

Sales Representative

 

 

We are seeking a goal-driven, self-motivated individuals to apply for the position of Sales representative. The major responsibilities include:  

 

  •  To research sources for developing prospective customers;
  •  To achieve or exceed the sales plan;
  •  To establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for Caprico’s products/services;
  •  Provide technical support to customers and offer advice about product and service selection; Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers;
  •  Establish clear communication with other departments regarding the customer’s needs and understand the potential for new products and services.  

Desired Skills:

 

  •  Experience in selling diagnostic reagent within the biotech/biopharma or academic sector is required and the experience in selling flow cytometry-related reagents such as fluorescent labeled antibody preferred.
  • Applicants should have a standard degree in a related field. Caprico offers excellent benefits and opportunity for promotion.  Salary is commensurate on previous experience.

Administrative Assistant

 

 

Requirements:

  •  Proven work experience as a secretary or administrative assistant
  • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques
  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Integrity and professionalism
  •  Proficiency in MS Office
  •  High school diploma
  •  US citizen

 

Responsibilities:

  • Take email and phone orders and answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary. Managing the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and arrange new meetings and appointments
  • Preparing and disseminating correspondence, memos and forms

  • File and update contact information of employees, customers, suppliers and external partners
  • Check frequently the levels of office supplies and place appropriate orders
  • Make travel arrangements
